In the event of a strong gust of wind causing the canopy to invert, you can easily snap it back into shape. With a length of 15 ½ inches, our umbrellas fit perfectly in backpacks, carry-ons, duffels, tote bags, and more. CANOPY - The 42-inch arc provides approximately 36 inches of coverage when open, perfect for one adult or two close friends. Each umbrella canopy is made from waterproof 190 threads per square inch 'Pongee' polyester, cut by hand and carefully sewn to ensure a perfect fit on the frame. The canopy consists of 8 sections, each with a vent to allow wind to pass through, protecting the umbrella from damage.
